Hello, I’m Louise.

I’m a freelance writer based in Manchester
So, why do I write? For me, writing is an art. I love shaping and refining content and taking my time to pick the perfect word. I find magic in creating something which resonates with other people.
Writing has always been a passion. As a child, I was a self-confessed bookworm. I discovered I had a natural flair for words and creative writing. A lifelong love of books inspired me to study English at Durham University where I was awarded a first class degree.
After working as a manager in various roles across health and social care, I decided I was ready for a new chapter. Setting up my own business as a freelance writer has helped me to lean in to my creative side. My experiences proved invaluable; as a manager, I learned how to tailor my language to influence and inspire others to achieve results. I bring my passion for wellbeing into my business; I believe that taking good care of ourselves allows us to be more intentional and fulfilled in our work and in our lives.
I enjoy creating meaningful content and I specialise in feature writing, web content for small businesses and proofreading. You can find out more about my services here.
I find inspiration through exploring the great outdoors; hiking and horse-riding make me feel energised. On lazy Sundays, I enjoy whiling away the hours with an immersive novel and a green tea.
